Christ Church Chilwell and St Barnabas, Inham Nook, are sister churches with Anglican Evangelical traditions. Together, yet with bold and independent visions and values, they serve the wider Chilwell communities – Christ Church as a larger resourcing church in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham, and St Barnabas as a smaller church reaching out to the estates of Inham Nook and Eskdale.
We are looking for an organised, computer-confident, self-starting leader to join a budding staff team to help meet, enlarge and extend our visions by overseeing all operational aspects of our ministry and mission in and beyond our local communities. The primary purpose of this senior role is to ensure the safe, smooth and compliant operation of the churches on behalf of the Vicar, PCC and DCC (for St Barnabas). They will understand the essential ministry provided by this operational role, which creates the necessary capacity for growth by allowing other members of the oversight and leadership of the churches to engage more effectively in the aspects of mission, ministry and leadership development that pertain to their particular areas of calling and responsibility.
Role: Operations Manager

Close relationships: Volunteers in each church with compliance or operations related roles
Line manager for: Cleaner/Caretaker
Employed by: The Parochial Church Council (PCC) of the Benefice of Chilwell and Inham Nook
